Sjeverna Koreja je testirala novi sistem protivvazdušne odbrane i sprovela vježbu gađanja krstarećom raketom velikog dometa strateške namjene, objavili su danas sjevernokorejski državni mediji.
Mediji navode da je to četvrto testiranje naoružanja u roku od nedjelju dana.
Prema navodima Korejske centralne novinske agencije (KCNA), testiranje novog sistema protivvazdušne odbrane, koje je sprovela Uprava za raketne sisteme, imalo je za cilj provjeru njegovih tehničkih mogućnosti.

North Korea emphasized that these tests and exercises are part of the military’s ongoing efforts to enhance the technical sophistication of its combat systems and the reliability of its strategic weaponry. The South Korean military reported the launch of several missiles from the Sondok area toward the Sea of Japan, with an estimated range of less than 300 km.

Združeni generalštab Južne Koreje ranije je saopštio da su sjevernokorejske rakete preletile manje od 300 kilometara, pri čemu nije isključena mogućnost da je riječ o balističkim raketama kratkog dometa.
Združeni generalštab Južne Koreje saopštio da je u srijedu registrovao lansiranje više raketa iz oblasti Sondok, u provinciji Južni Hamgjong, na istočnoj obali Sjeverne Koreje, u pravcu Istočnog mora.
